DJ Missy P. grew up right here in Northeast Ohio and stayed close to home to attend college at Kent State University where she is pursuing a degree in Fashion.

In addition to working as the DJ for one of Black Squirrel Radio's most popular shows, Missy P. also enjoys photography, attending concerts, and random D.I.Y. crafting.  She also writes for both CollegeFashionista.com and FashionablyCleveland.com

DJ Missy P. loves working as a DJ for Something New Entertainment because she loves "being surrounded by the joyous atmosphere of party attendees who are looking up to me to supply the entertainment of their party. It's nice to know that we, as DJ's, can positively impact any event simply by playing good music and thus positively affecting the tone of event," and she's a great DJ to have on your team because she has a special talent for reading the mood of the crowd in order to play music that is appropriate, that transitions nicely, and that will
entertain your guests.

Missy P.'s favorite parts of a wedding reception all involve sharing the excitement of the bride and groom as well as all in attendance. "It's such a joyous and significant celebration that I am grateful to know that we were chosen to be a part of it. Also, I enjoy all of the little things that occur at weddings such as the way a person's face lights up when the song they requested comes over the speakers or the chairs become abandoned for a great dance song!"
